Is there a way to bypass a 306 immobiliser?

I have a p reg 306, it cut out the other day and now i cant put the code in. Both the green and red lights come on at the same time. The engine will turn over but it wont kick in as i cant put the code in. Please help?

disconnect the battery & reconnect it then you will be able to enter your code,make sure you have your stereo code if needed
