how to replace brake pads on a peerless transaxle?

what is the step by step proceedure for replacing the brake pads in a peerless transaxle.this is on an 1984 wizard riding mower.18 hp twin cat briggs&straton with a peerless transaxle,it doesn't want to stop,takes six or eight feet and have to reduce speed to idle to stop.

Basically you unbolt the caliper from the disk replace the pads and bolt the caliper back on.
