Our Lavamat 86730 stopped with a C2 code. After I cleaned the filter on the front (1 toothpick, 1 hairclip and a lot of hairs and some strange plasticky goo) the machine spontaneously started pumping (even thought the dial was set to OFF)

When you put it on any program, it gives a C3 error, and the top 2 LEDs are flashing.

I suspect the C3 is because we couldn't completely drain it (it is sitting in a special spill tray), and the machine got wet feet... But resetting it (all 4 left buttons and 1 click counter-clockwise) doesn't seem to do anything, and the pump keeps running until we unplug the machine...

Ehhh... Help?...

if water has gone in to the base inside the machine when you removed the filter,this will set the antiflood and the drain pump comes on C3 error.Remove the back panel and mop the water out and then it should work again.UNPLUG the appliance at the mains before going in the back as it is live even when off on the dial!
