speedfight 2 50cc?

hi adam,bb,m ignore the 1st question above as ive gone to start my bike and yet again it wont start. i,m really pissed off with it now sorry about the language but this is what its drove me to. when it went in the garage the chap that had a look at it changed the jets for smaller ones as he said there was to much petrel getting through. i can get it to start sometimes by wire brushing the spark plug then it will start cus when i take the plug out its soaked. but that dosnt explain why it wont go over 20mph.exhaust is noisey and the lad at the garage said something to do with the baffels what are these and would this be the problem hense the bike not going over 20 mph ive tryed absalutly everything else as previesly explained new jets, piston.rings, barrel, head, stator coil, carb, reed petals could my clutch have anything to do with the bike going slow or the rev cable because i can have full revs on and the bike dont rev like it should thanks please help.

follow adams instructions first and let us know, do check your clutch springs just in case but this is only mechanical and will not stop the bike from running,

hi dy i have answered your other post .but the fact is its hard to say whats wrong without hearing it or riding it(if it went)the baffles are a system of pipes that deaden the noise in the exhaust to quieten it so its not offensive to whinging old grannies.as for ther throttle cable i doubt thats its the cause ,to see simply take the air box off and open the throttle right up and then look inside the back of the carb the venturi should be totally open and the throttle slide should be pulled up so its not blocking the way through at all.if the plug is wet i would say the carbs float needle isnt stemming the fuel flow as it should and also that the vaccum tap is allowing fuel to flow without the engine running.its very common for the taps to fail like this and the answer is buy a new one.let me know how it goes of course do test the old fuel tap first by pulling it off the carb and seeing if fuel comes out without it running you will get a small amount but it should stop pretty fast.
