Renault Grand Scenic door handle/lock fault?

Hi, I have a 55 plate Grand Scenic Privilege 2.0 with the Keyless entry and ignition. The other day as I opened the passenger door the handle came away and the full lock barrel fell out. Does anyone know if this is a common fault? If not what action should I take? Dealer repair etc.

If I was you and the car is in warranty I'd take it back to the dealer to sort out.
