how can i rewire a 1950's US appliance for use in UK?

I have a 115 volt 350w vintage 1950's 3 spindle milkshake machine. I want to convert it to use on UK mains power. Is there anyway I can rewire it to change the frequency from 60hz to 50hz and volts from 115 to 240? I know I can get transformer, but it'd be great if it could be fully rewired.

Without understanding the internals of it I would guess very difficult to do - given the age of the machine then very, very difficult to do.

Motors on 50Hz may run a little slower and it would take loads-a-money to make your own 60Hz supply - I think the transformer solution is probably the most realistic approach.

Are there any heaters in the thing? Another major issue for you if you attempt to convert it.

Good luck...
