Why can I not set my alarm system?

Optimax XM6 system.

Basically, when decorating a room I accidently cut through one of the sensors alarm wiring - I had enough 'play' on the wire so simply re-wired it into the sensor.

The alarm is currently on day mode as per usual but when I enter my code to set it it just has the red lights on all three of my zones and makes a beeping noise (different to the set noise). None of the sensors are sensing either as the red light on them is not flashing.

I have triple checked the wiring and have reset the system to factory default ... anyone suggest anything else?

If you cut through the cable you will have blown the glass circuit fuse supplying 13v to the PIR's, check and replace.

By the way asking more than once is pointless
