How can I fix the rear silencer mountin bracket on a Citroen Picasso 16HDi ?

My dealer said the mounting bracket on the rear silencer of my citroen picasso has corroded and can only be replaced with a new exhaust.
The exhaust is in good condition, so how car I obtain a replacement bracket or repair the existing system?

I gave a 04 plate 1.6 HDi and the mounting bracket is not welded on.
You can buy new brackets on eBay for £10 inlc. Delivery.
Apparently it's a known fault with this exhaust on citroen and peugeot cars....caused by the bracket not being galvanised.

the bracket is part of the exhaust. they are just welded on. you cant get new brackets and i dont think anyone would weld it up cheaper than you could replace it for and it probably wouldnt last very long.

Get someone to weld the bracket back on,offset the price against a new silencer, might be cheaper just to get a new one.
