Where to locate and how to check it?

Hi ! Lincoln Appliance NZ,

Thank you for your information.

Is the thermostat and the sensor one part or differnt parts? Can you please tell me where I could locate it and how I could test for malfunction?

Lincoin Appliance NZ,

Since I am in Africa and the repair shop is not well experienced I suggest that I could fix it. I have a volt/amp-meter and have basic knowledge on electronics but nothing on fridge.

Please, if you don't mind give your best advice on how to remove them and test them. At lease I will supervise when the repair-man do something wrong.
Thanx.

If your fridge has an electronic controller it will have a sensor in each compartment. If no PCB control board it will have a thermostat. Both of these types of temperature controls are usually located on the inside back wall. Too difficult to explain here how to remove them and test them. Seeing as how you even had to ask what they are & where to look for them suggests that you do not have the experience or test equipment needed. I suggest you call someone out to check & repair it for you.
