hi my iveco cargo 0813 will not start it was fine then all of a sudden i went to start it the other day and it tried to turn over but wouldnt fire up it did this for a couple of days, we put new batteries on and tried to start it then it seemed to blow something and now not even the dash lights work, nothing at all, any answers as im buggered cheers phil newark

Hi, there are two round black multi plugs in the floor of the cab, if you can tilt the cab, have a look to make sure these are properly connected. you could also check the wiring to the alternator as it actually forms part of the ignition circuit. have you got a battery isolator fitted? if so try to bypass it just incase its not working properly (this is exactly what happened to my 87 cargo)
