tried my carver heater on 240v blows cold air only any ideas as to why ?

Hi just bought caravan with carver heater 3600stc tried on 240v and only cold air came out any ideas on what to do we do not have the manual for this

I could be you are not using the control panel for hot/cold air circulation or burnt out element.
3days and I'm off air for two weeks vacation so be quick.
