brake lights not working on ford transit pickup?

Mine has same problem, I've been told today the switch is located directly above the brake pedal. You pull the plug out and to test it you arc it with some wire. I've not tried that yet, but have easily located the switch.

have you also tried giving the light units a direct to chassis earth ?

Locate switch at brake pedal, see if you can remove wiring connector from switch and get a small paper clip or split pin and bridge across terminals with ignition on,if your lights work fit a new switch, good luck
