Main oven getting too hot on Electrolux EKC5544W?

This is a follow on from a previous problem (http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=327752).
So I had the motor and fan replaced and thought everything would be dandy, em no. The fan works perfectly but the cut out still kicked in after awhile and completely shut down the main oven. Thinking that the cut out was faulty I went ahead and bought a replacement thermal cut out from Electrolux. Replaced it and now I have a new problem, the oven constantly increases in temperature and gets way too hot and it also doesn't cycle (oven neon switching off) or cut out. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

[Update]
I switched the wires on the new thermal cut-out which actually worked so then I replaced the main oven thermometer (the switch with the metal probe) and hey presto it works. The oven now heats up and cycles when it gets to the set temp. Finally I have finished refurbing this cooker. €600 cheaper than buying a new one I tell ya. :)

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean the thermometer switch needs replacing? If that's the case then do you know why the new thermal cut-out failed to cut the oven when the temps got way too high? Also could it be possible I may have switched the cut-out wires while installing the new thermal cut-out?, as the replacement does look cosmetically different from the original so I couldn't go by the original for reference (the blue dot).

if the main oven temp neon doesn't go out at set temps then it needs replacing
