Just had diagnostic check done on 1.4hdi 206 diesel 02 plate. Dealer said low fuel pressure, requires new fuel injection main pump, at a mere price of £902.90! Engine warning light had come on, Glow plug light also gone out. Anyone had any experience of this, just want to check out before spending anything like that money!!

this is normally followed by alow pressure (in tank) pump failure then a couple of months later blocked injectors very common problem total fix about £2250
