temp gauge?

drove my corsa diesel to my daughters 10 mins away,noticed my temp gauge started to rise up to 3/4 of the gauge ,plenty ov coolant in the car ,any help

no bubbles ,hose hot ,oil clean ,how will i know if th head gaskets gone.thanks wickham

Have a look in expansion tank for excess pressure or bubbles in coolant,maybe head gasket or have a feel of top rad hose,if it is not hot could be thermostat,have had some motors in past with no impeller vanes on water pump,unlikely but you never know.
