my samsung srs 2028 model stopped freezing and the fridge was also warm the temperature display was also flashing. i called an engineer who turned it off and back on the flashing then stopped and it started to get down to the required temperatures but only temporarily then it defrosted again can anyone help or have any information for me ive been told i may require a new board but i would like this confirmed before i pay out the money to have it replaced and it may not be the problem thanks

I had the same problem with the flashing -18 C and the problem is with the ice maker ,you need to reset the the maker by pressing freezer temperature and refrigerator temperature for 12 seconds and then press the refrigerator temperature to it reads 3 and press the freezer temperature to it reads 0 .It does work believe me.

copied and paste for another post , but yes this guy will help - we had same faukt with srs and his repair kit fixed it

he is samsung authorised fully trained refridgeration engineer , works with them all day long and theres not much he doesnt know ..

we have srs2028 with similar problems , he advised what problem was and how to fix it ..
