The driveshafts have a snap ring at the gearbox end and require a couple of levers - one on each side to jolt them out of the snap ring groove. One lever is not normally enough, it has to be even force both sides. Other that that remove the large central nut on the hub and split the bottom suspension joint to allow you to pull the suspension strut outwards to pull the inner end out of the gearbox.
