Zanussi/Electrolux ZNB404S Fridge stopped working?

All of a sudden, the fridge part of my frost free fridgefreezer has stopped working. Freezer fine. Display for fridge only shows ' - ' no temp reading,again, freezer fine. Have tried turning off to defrost, but still no joy. Any tips before my otherhalf takes it apart and starts tinkering?
