I have a 2005 megane the key fob unlocks the car but when i try to start the ignition a message come up saying CARD NOT DETECTED . My spare fob works fine

Renualt Dealer Wants £49.00 to reprogram Fob But says it could be faulty fob if so will cost £150.00 on top he has surgested just replace fob and don`t reprogram.
anyone know of a cheaper option (bring back normal keys)
