I also bought one of these fridge freezers from Howdens which lasted about 2.5 years before the automatic defrost system failed, I payed £84 for a supposed specialist engineer to attend who apart from telling me what a good product this was' said he couldn't fix it as it was a sealed unit and a common fault that he had not been able to find any solution to.
At over £1,000 for one of these fitted units it must be obvious to all that they are absolutely unleliable rubbish and way overpriced by Howdens whose representative we also found very arrogant, uncooprative, and unhelpfull. Their cabinet making is excellent, but they need to be much more proactive with the standard of the equipment they supply. Certainly, the attitude of their representatives needs to be vastly improved.
