hi i have just bought a kl600 enduro 1984.it only starts after you have kicked it over about twenty times, when started it is fine switch it of it may start or you may be kicking over for a long time. most of the electrics have been changed at the fly wheel, it has a new spark plug .
can any one help as my right foot as sore.

i would say its low on compression mate the kicking will cause the oil to coat the rings and raise the compression which will make it start.i would aslo suggest setting the valve clearances about 0.10mm-0.18mm on the inlet and 0.18mm -0.26mm on the exhaust.
