Hi, my son has got starting issues with his corsa b 1.2 16v 99 T reg. Car starts fine sometimes and then after a few minutes it wont start but it turns over. I have changed fuel pump, fuel relay and filter and i have got a live to the pump when trying to start. But if you leave car alone for an hour or so it starts up like there was never nothing wrong. No engine check light coming on and car drives beautifully, but if you turn it off it might not start for about an hour or so, please help as my son is driving me mad !.

Had another corsa last year,went to scrappy for some parts and he mentioned supplying new clocks to various people for their Corsa,think they were expensive from v/hall,but sorry cant remember the fault that these caused,wouldn,t rule out anything on motors nowadays,good luck

thanks Peesian and Wickham i will look into it i know it's an easy fix just needed some conformation, but other people have mentioned a problem with the back of the binacle (clock) could this be also an issue.

changed that already got a brand new one cus had no power and check light was on, this is a different problem altogether. as previous mentioned starts fine sometimes and then just turns over, with no check light coming on when it is running, but when AFM was faulty we had nothing but power loss and it drove really sluggish but since changed it it's been fine until now car still drives beautifully when it runs with no power loss, it's just this starting gremlin

Had a corsa 1.0l not long ago with same problem,changed the crankshaft sensor and no problems since,about £10-£15 from a motor factors,worth a go,good luck

try MAF airflow meter change it bout 30 quid on ebay look up all numbers on it and email 1 of dealers on ebay and get 1 cheap common fault on cosa bs
