Old machine started sewing slower & slower. Direct wired and found it was not the motor. Assumed it was cord & foot control and ordered new, but it still will not run. Is there other wiring trouble??
If it is old get some WD40 and oil all moving parts that you can see, if you are sure it is not the motor or control that is the only answer, sometimes after many years old oil can congeal and clog up the works.
