We were notified dishwasher had a defect. Could be fire hazard. We could have someone fix it or they would give me $75.00 toward a new washer. I love my dishwasher so I had someone come out to fix it. The technician installed a kit that was sent from maytag.Prior to the fix the dishwasher operated with no visible problems.It went through all cycles requested. Now when we close the door we have a humming noise. So we leave the door open. We tried to use the dishwasher once and it does not go through the cycles properly. We did not have this problem before the fix.Any assistance in this matter would be appreciated.We had the company you recommended to do the fix.
