Replaced heating element - still no heat! Zanussi TC484W tumble dryer?

Please help - my tumble dryer was spinning but not drying with heat & following advice, I replaced the heating element. The problem is still the same, it spins, but there is no heat. One website suggested replacing the thermostat....please can you tell me where to find it on my machine? I can't seem to find it at all & am ready to sling it out the door. Many thanks :)

stick your head inside the drum and look up at 1 o clock position.you will see a plastic bit held on with 2 posi screws.remove these and prise the plastic cover off.now you can pull the stat out with wiring.from 1 side to the other on the terminals should be normally closed.if they are open circuit then this is your issue.
