if vehicle been standing for a while with handbrake on shoes with the damp stick to the drums best way to free them is to put wheels back on take handbrake off and hit centre of wheel with lump hamer hard and rock car to make sure frees up ( 1 point if got alloys best to use block of wood between hammer and wheel so as not to damage wheel )
