vauxhall astra 1.7 diesel?

2005 astra 1.7 ecotec diesel cut out on motorway would not restart. veh recovered home by aa veh now starts and runs ok no fault code stored. Any ideas?

this model has been known to have probs with fuel flow control valves if contaminated cause this problem
