Thanks for your answer P where is the fuel control valve situated on the above veh. What does it look like can it be checked and can it be replaced

there is a modified 1 (93186571 part number) changed 1 couple years ago for brother inlaw had same problem thats how knew part number cos still got it in phone in save has elec connection on top and part of engine fuel flow system when contaminated shut engine down and only got started cpl days later thought nothing of it but recurred again then found out bout it after lengthy and expensive parts fitted
