05 rover 25 1.4. No heater and radio?

When i turn the ignition on the radio lights up then goes off and the heater/fan will not work.Even when the car is running. Is this down to the ignition switch, or is it something else. ?

Hi I'm not an expert but it sounds like the problem is your thermostat, it's very tricky to get to as it at the back of the engine, which you either have to lift the manifold to get to or go in from underneath the car. It is explained in the Haines Manual
