Hi, take a look on You Tube for a good video on how to do just that. Note that you DON'T have to remove the motor, but you MUST remember to disconnect the washing machine from the electricity before taking the top off. A small torch and a stubby screwdriver are useful tools. If you're not used to hands-on stuff and still want a go then take good close-up photos of the rear of the motor first so you know where to put the wires back. Note that the carbon from the old brushes will be caked all over where you work, so wear something old!
