I take it there is plenty of coolant in the header tank?if not then either the temp sender is faulty the head gasket is leaking or the exhaust pipe is blocked up or maybe the waterpump or theromstat.Take the header tank cap off and see what happens to the water in it when you start it and when it starts to get hot, look for bubbles or no movement att all when its revved.if you see bubbles then the head gasket is leaking and if there is no water transferral then the waterpump is not working or the thermostat isnt opening up.if its normal and the water is being moved about with no bubbling then tke the exhaust off and blow through it to see if its blocked.if not then try a new sender it just screws in.
