i am a ryobi repair man for the petrol division uk
i repair chainsaws, strimmers, lawn mowers,
there are a few problems with ryobi chainsaws
the easy repair parts are pull-cord assembly
the flywheel and ignition module
the hard repairs are scored barrels and piston
(main thing) take off the exhaust first check the piston for scores if OK then proceed to check the spark plug
if no spark then it is the the ignition module
if you have a spark then it is the flywheel
if you have a carb problem all ryobi carbs are made by zammo Canada (factory settings for the mixture screws
are screw all the way in then 2 turns out
if you have any problems
we also repair non warrantee items at work
