i was riding my aerox earlier i wasnt going quick only about 35 and my bike made a weird noise which sounded like my belt snapped so i pulled over and it wouldnt start after, i changed the spark plug as the other was crushed which may have been the piston hitting against it. any help/ideas on how to get it going agin ? cheers

jack if it has holed the piston then i would suggest you find out why,its either the ignition timing too far advanced,the compression ratio too high or its running very weak and hot.if you dont find the reason out it will just do it again trust me been there and done it in my earlier days.:)

i took it apart earlier to find a massive whole in the piston like almost half the size of the whole top of the piston so im goin to flush the engine through replace the piston and get the head bored out again.

yep i agree with rayb the problem is either the piston or rings or the big or small end bearing or a main bearing cage breaking up.to be honest i would punt for a main bearing breaking up and the damage you can see on the plug will be where the cage from the bearing has been thrown up the transfer ports into the combustion chamber.if it is that the the engineneeds to come out and the cases will have to be split.my favourite job :)

do you still have good compression.if not then you might have a hole in top of piston which means a new piston will have to be fitted .
