immobiliser,ford focus 1999 1.6 zetec?

disconected my battery and reconected it but car wont turn over,was told that immobiler has kicked in,how do i get round this.?

found this problem couple times before it losing memory on other cars have found if leave ignition on for few hours then turning off and turn on again cured some of these probs cause immobilizer on a rolling pin select nd sometimes finds its pin
