how can i fix my wipers over running?

i have a vauxhall astra 56reg and the window wipers are over running and hitting the drivers post and also slamming back down against the bulk head.

could be wiper arm-try moving it from side to side and see if there is excess movement in "hinge" part that fixes to spindle.

if they are hitting at top and bottom you may have worn linkage it will need replaced as no amount of adjusting will fix fault

Park wipers,remove cover at end of wiper blade arm and check nuts onto wheel boxes are tight
