The engine warning/antipollution fault/catalytic converter fault has been flashing and a bit juddery...could it be the pollen filter needs replacing? and how do i get to it?

The Pollen filter will not be causing those faults, you need to get the car connected to a code reader to find out why the "eng warning" lights etc are on any good independant garage or tyre & exhaust place will have the required equipment to do this cost's around £25~40
