Can water heater be replaced on Aquarius WF540?

I have a small leak from around what I think is the water heater on Hotpoint Aquarius WF540. Heater is working. Can the heater be removed and resealed? If so, what sealant? Thanks.

first are you sure its not a hole in the door seal,it is very unusual for the heater seal to leak.If it is the heater seal any good glue/sealant will do it,but check the doot seal first
