my flymo lawnmower is making a very very LOUD noise and is making the machine very shaky. I cannot see anything stuck under the hood, the blade seems to be fitted fine, and cuts the grass as before, from the inside after removing the basket I cannot anything either, any ideas? ...

There isnt much on the machine to make a noise, you have a motor, a base plate and a belt, if there is no smell of burning motor you have to assume it is the base plate, this incorporates a blade brake on some models, what ever, it will need to come apart
