My left indicator keeps going off on its own?Peugeot 206 W reg?

My left indicator keeps going off on its own and i cant stop it sometimes. How Do i fix it?

I had same problem, open up the indicator stalk and clean all of the grease off the contacts and in the grooves, it will contain brass fillings from wear which causes a short, reassemble with a little new grease. good luck.
