the empty water light is coming on even though no water in box,i have cleaned filters etc any ideas

This happened to me and I found this easy fix worked.
Very gently pick out any fluff with a cotton bud from the connector nozzle on the water tray (the bit that fills with water that you empty). This becomes clogged easily and blocks the water coming through and makes the sensor think it's full.
