How do you fix the rear water inlet on a 2002 ford ka its leaking?

I have a 2002 52 ford ka and the garage wont service it because they say there is a leak from the rear water inlet manifold and the engine needs to come out to fix it. is it right how do I fix this

you do not need to remove the engine to replace the inlet manifold gasget on a ford ka
just remove air intake box and assembly then remove throtle cable and brake servo pipe then the fuel pipes then the heater hose which conects to the inlet manifold which is a quick release connection there may be some wire conectors to release it may be a good idea to mark these connetions with tags with numbers for aiding reassembly
then release inlet manifold bolts then manifold can be removed and a new gasget can be replaced

no reason to disbelieve garage but there are some awkward jobs on some motors nowadays and it may be easier to drop engine/gbox out in a unit to do the job
