My dryer drum will not turn, only turns when you have a couple of clothes in side. How do I fix it and how do I get into the dryer to fix it. model # mde6400ayw serial No. 26442356gp

check tension of belt . to get into dryer remove door hinge screws and screws in the same position on the oposite side front panel will the come off, by pulling from the top of the sides. check the belt tension pully spring. see parts diagrams at http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5170647
