take off the left hand rear sidepanel and you will see a finned square metal box bolted to the frame with a wiring plug pushed in it.This is the regulator rectifier it takes the aternating currnet from the generator and regulates it to 1round 1 volts and also rectifies it to direct current.it also has the flaher relay built into it on this model.if this goes wrong ot will not charg e and also if the generators charging coil fials to work it will not charge.
