adam the bike doctor?

sorrry adam, there is no power getting from the battery atol. the bike starts if you bypass the electrics, so logically the soleniod is working. i can't figure out what could cause all the electrics to fail at once. essay away mate, the more info the better.

have you made sure the battery is definatley ok? does it start the bike if you join the two main red solenoid wires?if so then as crispy says either the main fuse is blown or the earth wire from the battery to the frame is either insceure or broken i reckon ,ahve you tested the wirea at the ignition switch to see if you have a live feed up to it test the red wire on the back of the switch it should be live even with the ignition switch turned off.

chances are it'll be something simple such as main fuse blown, if so then check wiring for loose connections before fitting new fuse. Check battery terminals for corrosion, clean up, re-connect and smear with petroleum jelly, NOT grease.
