further to an earlier question, it was suggested that ticking, turning on/off of the fridge freezer hotpoint future ffp187b is likely to be a compressor problem. The ticking comes from the top front panel. what is a compressor and how do i fix it. my appliance is not under warranty because i brought it secondhand
