The washing machine fills with water then stops, there is some clicking noises from the programme dial, then nothing.
This happens on all cycles. It drains once put on spin cycle.

I am experiencing a very similar problem. My 9506 machine fills with water then the drum turns intermittently. I have found that lightly banging the washing machine below the door brings the machine back to life and the drum turns. However, this does not offer a permanent solution and the drum after a while again stops turning.

My own feeling is that the problem is linked to the motor / brushes or a linking gear mechanism either worn or faulty.
