I am running the Engineers Diagnostic mode & gtting this error code - E52.

I have seen that this may be "no signal from tachometric generator - cyle blocked with door closed".

Does anyone know what this means and more importantly is it possible for me to fix it?

I have seen that it may be a motor fault but could well be the main circuit board....

Any help would be gratefully received.

E52 could be as simple as the motor brushes are worn out and need replacing.lay the machine on its back and you can remove the motor brushes from the side of the motor whilst in situ.if carbon brushes are 10mm or less they need replacing
