hi i have just put a new engine in my astra 2.o ltr dti and now it wont rev over 3000 but if you turn the car off and back on it will rev to 5000 and sometimes does it whilst your driving i took it to vauxhall to put it on machine and it brought up egr valve glow plugs and glow plugs relay i have changed all them and £400 later guess what same problem can anyone help thanks.

modern motoring for you,had a fuel fault come up on a motor-turned out to be ignition switch,there are no guarantees nowadays that what a code reader says that that will be the fix,sorry but you will have to get it back onto Tech2 for another go
