I found this - it may work...Good luck...

This is a heads-up for owners of Epson R300 and some other Epson printers. There is an internal "counter" that at a certain point will stop the printer and announce: "service required". You will be advised to call Epson - before the printer will print again. Something about a full overflow tank. /

Anyway - to reset the counter and get your printer back again:
While the printer is on - hold down the power, stop and paperjamreset buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. You will hear a terrible grinding sound while the counter is resetting.
