how can i find problem which do some time?

I have toyota avensis d4d, some time when i am going to start the car, engin going to running but not going to start proper (No power) when i do long self then start, its running fine no any problem when driving, give me an suggastion plz

check your heater plugs,remove wiring from top of each plug,flick a 12v live onto each plug in turn,you should see a small spark at each one,if not replace
